Funds may be frozen on your GameShard account for a couple of reasons, both designed to ensure fairness and security on the platform.
First, when a tournament ends, we temporarily freeze any winnings for 3 days. This allows us to verify the results, resolve any disputes, and ensure that everything is in order before the funds are released to your wallet. It’s a routine part of the process, helping maintain the integrity of the competition and fairness to all players.
Additionally, if you’ve recently deposited money into your account, those funds will remain frozen until they are used for at least one transaction or tournament on the platform. This is another layer of security to prevent misuse of deposited funds and ensure they’re being used as intended.
